Filament Tape

Filament tape uses a film backing — polyester or polypropylene — reinforced with glass or polyester filaments and coated with an aggressive adhesive. The glass filaments give it high tensile strength, and adding more fibre raises that strength further, which is why filament tapes come in low, medium and high grades.

SyncSol offers filament tape in four adhesive variants: hot melt, rubber, solvent low-tack and solvent residue-free. Cross filament tape handles heavy-duty bundling of pipes, steel coils and tyres, and holds components in white goods, cricket bat and jumbo bag work.
