Product overview
SyncSol ETCF 1570 is a cross filament tape with a 25 µm polyester film backing reinforced by a 100 µm glass-fibre layer and coated with synthetic rubber adhesive. Total thickness is 140 µm, elongation at break only 6% and roll ball tack 4 cm. The reinforcement gives very high tensile strength along with good resistance to abrasion, moisture and scuffing.
The cream-coloured tape is rated to 130 ℃ and has a dielectric breakdown of 5,500 V. Adhesive variants include hotmelt, rubber, low-tack solvent and residue-free solvent, so the grip can be matched to the job.
