Product overview
SyncSol ETCF 1565 is a cross filament tape with a 25 µm polyester film reinforced by a 100 µm fibreglass backing, coated with a hot-melt adhesive for a total thickness of 160 µm. It has adhesion to steel of 5,000 g per inch, 130 % elongation at break and a temperature resistance of 90 ℃.
The fibreglass reinforcement gives very high tensile strength and good resistance to abrasion, moisture and scuffing. The tape is cream coloured, with a listed dielectric breakdown of 5,500 V. Cross filament tape is offered in four adhesive variants: hot-melt, rubber, low-tack solvent and residue-free solvent.
