Sticky Mat
A sticky mat is a stack of 30 anti-microbial film layers, each coated with adhesive, laid at entrances to clean areas. As people walk over it and equipment wheels roll across it, the tacky surface lifts dirt and fine particles so they are not carried into the work area. Once the top layer is soiled, it is peeled away to expose a fresh, clean layer.
The adhesive is water-soluble and environmentally friendly. Independent testing shows sticky mats removing up to 95% of particles in the 0.3 µm range. SyncSol supplies the mat in blue, sized 24 × 36 inch.
