Mastic Tape
SyncSol SSMT 9040 is a mastic tape combining a self-fusing ethylene propylene rubber layer with a moisture-sealing mastic adhesive. The black, durable rubber backing resists UV, while the aggressive, temperature-stable mastic conforms tightly to irregular shapes and adheres firmly, sealing out moisture.
It is used to insulate, pad and seal bus bars and splice connections, and suits both indoor work and outdoor installations exposed to the weather. The tape withstands temperatures up to 90 ℃ (194 ℉), making it a practical choice for general moisture-sealing and electrical insulating jobs.
