Repulpable Tape
Repulpable tape is designed to dissolve in water, so it can go back into the pulping process along with the paper it joins. It is built on a tissue paper carrier coated on both sides with a water-soluble adhesive based on synthetic resins.
It is used for splicing, masking and holding at paper mills, newspaper plants, web printers and electronics producers. The tissue tears quickly and easily, letting operators remove excess paper at the splice — a key requirement for high-speed splicing.
