Cross Filament Tape
Cross filament tape has a backing reinforced with fibreglass filaments, giving very high tensile strength, coated with adhesive. The reinforcement also provides excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture and scuffing, so the tape holds heavy loads together where ordinary packing tape would stretch or split.
SyncSol offers four variants: hot-melt, rubber, solvent low-tack and solvent residue-free. The tape is used for bundling and heavy-duty packing of pipes, steel coils and tyres, and for mounting and holding components in the white goods, cricket bat and jumbo bag industries.
