Product overview
SyncSol ETCF 1566 combines a 25 µm polyester base with a 100 µm reinforced fibreglass backing, coated with a rubber adhesive for a total thickness of 175 µm. The filament reinforcement gives the tape very high tensile strength, so it holds heavy, awkward loads together without stretching out or snapping.
The fibreglass backing resists abrasion, moisture and scuffing during handling and transit. On steel the tape gives an adhesion of 900 g/inch with a roll ball tack of 2 cm, elongation at break is 130 %, and it carries a temperature rating of 180 ℃. Dielectric breakdown is 5,500 V. Supplied in cream.
ETCF 1566 is the rubber-adhesive grade and the highest temperature-rated option among ETCF 1566, 1567 and 1568. The cross filament range is offered in four adhesive variants: hot-melt, rubber, low-tack solvent and residue-free solvent.
