Seam Sealing Tape
Seam sealing tape is a multilayer heat-seal adhesive film applied over sewn seams. Stitching leaves needle holes and gaps that let water through; the tape covers the seam line and closes those paths so the finished item stays waterproof along its joins. It is applied with a hot air taping machine, which activates the adhesive and presses the film onto the fabric.
SyncSol offers seam sealing tape in two forms: a normal seam sealing tape and a heat-activated version. Both suit stitched products that must keep water out, from outerwear and industrial workwear to tents, waders, footwear and military garments.
