Product overview
SyncSol ETCF 1568 is built on a 25 µm polyester base with a 100 µm reinforced fibreglass backing and a solvent adhesive. At 150 µm total, it is the slimmest grade in the ETCF series, yet the fibreglass filaments still give it very high tensile strength for holding heavy loads.
The reinforced backing resists abrasion, moisture and scuffing. Adhesion to steel is 900 g/inch with a roll ball tack of 4 cm, elongation at break is 130 % and dielectric breakdown is 5,500 V. The tape is rated to 130 ℃ and supplied in cream.
ETCF 1568 gives the same steel adhesion as the rubber-based ETCF 1566 in a thinner, solvent-adhesive build. Where service temperatures go beyond 130 ℃, ETCF 1566 is the better fit.
