Mono Filament Tape SMFT 2578

SyncSol SMFT 2578 is a mono filament tape with a silver film backing reinforced by lengthwise glass-fibre filaments and coated with a synthetic rubber adhesive. Total thickness is 130 µm, tensile strength is 25 kg/cm and elongation at break is just 6%, so the tape holds loads without stretching or loosening under tension.

The filament reinforcement gives the tape good resistance to abrasion and moisture, which helps it survive rough handling in storage and transit. Adhesion to steel is rated at 25 N/25 mm. For a firm bond, apply to clean, dry, dust-free surfaces with even, firm pressure.

Supplied in 24 mm and 48 mm widths. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use within 12 months of the date of manufacture for best results.
