Product overview

SyncSol NWCT 5563 uses a 70 gsm non-woven fabric carrier with hotmelt adhesive, for a total weight of 100 gsm. The carrier stretches to 100% elongation at break and has a tensile strength of 190 N/25 mm, while adhesion to steel reaches 1,100 g/inch.

Because the carrier conforms so readily, the tape bonds well on rough, uneven or curved surfaces and around corners. A moisture-stable paper liner keeps parts easy to process and peels away cleanly. The non-woven carrier is stiffer and more dimensionally stable than a tissue carrier.

Across industry the tape is often called air vent tape. It is available in white or black.
