Product overview
SyncSol DSCT 4958 coats a 120 gsm cotton cloth with natural rubber adhesive on both sides — 40 µm on the open side and 45 µm on the closed side — for a total weight of 300 gsm. Adhesion to steel is 1,400 g/inch and 1,800 g/inch on the opposite side, with high initial tack.
The tape tears easily by hand and removes cleanly. It is laminated with either a Havana brown paper or a polyester release liner, the cloth is white, and the adhesive is rated for 80–130 ℃. A 320 µm thickness version is also available.
It is a strong choice for joining two dissimilar surfaces and for mounting plates in flexographic printing.
