Product overview
SyncSol SCCT 2359 uses a 130 gsm cotton cloth backing coated with hotmelt adhesive on the inside and a soft waterproofing compound on the outside, for a total weight of 290 gsm. Adhesion to steel is 1,260 g/inch, and the adhesive does not dry out quickly on the roll.
The cloth tears cleanly by hand and moulds well to irregular surfaces, so it is quick to apply around edges and uneven parts. The waterproof face protects the substrate during wet work, and the tape offers a dielectric breakdown of 2,000 V with a temperature rating of 90 ℃.
SCCT 2359 is the heavier of the two single-sided cotton cloth grades. For hotter processes, look at a glass cloth tape instead.
