Product overview
SyncSol MTHT 1741 combines a resin-impregnated 60 gsm crepe paper backing with a pressure-sensitive natural rubber adhesive. It is 135 µm (98 gsm) thick, with adhesion to steel of 650 g per inch, tensile strength of 8 kg per 25 mm and a heat resistance of 180 ℃.
The crepe backing conforms to curved and uneven surfaces for clean paint edges. It resists paint water and solvents, can support plastic sheeting, and removes cleanly without surface damage or residue. It is hand-tearable for fast application.
MTHT 1741 has the highest heat rating among SyncSol's crepe masking grades. Its listed roll ball tack is 7.5 cm, against 1.5 cm for MTHT 6332.
