Product overview

SyncSol MTGP 2782 pairs a 60 gsm crepe paper backing with a natural rubber adhesive, for a total thickness of 130 µm. It shields neighbouring surfaces from paint overspray, gives crisp paint lines and holds well, with adhesion to steel of 800 g per inch and tensile strength of 17.63 kg per 25 mm.

The crepe backing follows curves and irregular contours, so edges stay sharp even on shaped parts. It resists the water and solvents in paint, is firm enough to hold up plastic sheeting, and peels away without marking the surface or leaving residue. It tears easily by hand, so no tools are needed.

Of the general-purpose grades, MTGP 2782 has the highest listed temperature rating at 80 ℃. For baking or curing above that, choose a high-temperature masking grade.
