Product overview
SyncSol KPTW 2295 is a gummed paper tape made from 65 gsm brown kraft paper coated with 19–38 gsm of water-activated potato starch adhesive, for a total thickness of 120 µm. Both paper and adhesive are biodegradable, so the tape is recyclable along with the carton it seals.
Once moistened, the adhesive grips quickly and bonds into the carton fibres, making the whole parcel stronger and more secure. Key values: dry tack of at least 350 g/25 mm, open time of up to 13 seconds, surface moisture of 15.0 ± 3.5% and a fibre-tear rupture area of at least 95%. It is used at ambient temperature.
