Product overview
SyncSol ETGC 8839 combines a 130 µm glass cloth backing with a heat-curing silicone adhesive, for a total thickness of 165 µm. It provides class H insulation, a dielectric strength of 3.5 kV and adhesion to steel of 600 g per inch, with temperature resistance listed at 400 ℃.
The heat-curing adhesive keeps the tape abrasion resistant at high temperature. It is flame retardant with high mechanical strength, and is also offered in high-tack, medium-tack, low-tack and thermosetting rubber variants.
Compared with ETGC 8829, it moves up from class F to class H insulation and from acrylic to silicone adhesive.
