Product overview
SyncSol TCDP 4650 is a transparent double-sided tape built on a 12 µm polyester (PET) carrier with tackified solvent acrylic adhesive, 78 µm on the open side and 70 µm on the closed side, for a total of 160 µm. Adhesion to steel is 1,200 g per inch on one side and 1,120 g per inch on the other, with an MOPP release liner.
It forms a dependable bond on rough and low-surface-energy (LSE) substrates and can be loaded immediately after assembly. It withstands heat and cold, with an operating temperature of 150 ℃.
TCDP 4650 is the slimmer option where a lower bond line is wanted; TCDP 4640 offers more adhesive and a higher temperature rating.
