Product overview

SyncSol SYPE 5975 is a double-sided PE foam tape with 60 gsm of solvent adhesive on each side and a total thickness of 1.0 mm, supplied on a paper or PVC liner. It offers good adhesion, high shear strength and long ageing, with adhesion to steel of 1,100 g on both faces and foam density of 64 kg/m³.

The tape is flame retardant and does not give off toxic fumes when burnt, which suits it to indoor use. It forms a permanent bond between lightweight surfaces, performs in cold applications and is rated from −80 ℃ to 110 ℃. A range of widths and thicknesses is available.
