EPDM Foam Tape EPDM 8571

Product overview

SyncSol EPDM 8571 is a 6.0 mm EPDM foam tape with hotmelt adhesive and a paper release liner. The foam weighs 550 gsm (670 gsm in total with adhesive). It offers good adhesion, high shear strength and long ageing life, with adhesion to steel of 1,000 g, tensile strength of 195 g and elongation of 100%.

At 27 ± 3 Shore A and a density of about 100 kg/m³, this grade is softer and thicker than EPDM 8570, so it compresses more readily into larger or uneven gaps. It is rated from −10 ℃ to 100 ℃ and comes single- or double-sided, in rolls or die-cut parts.
