Product overview

SyncSol EPDM 8570 is a 3.0 mm EPDM foam tape coated with hotmelt adhesive on a paper release liner. It combines good adhesion and high shear strength with long ageing life. Adhesion to steel is 1,000 g, tensile strength 109 g/mm and elongation at break 100%, with a hardness of 45 ± 3 Shore A and density of 155 ± 10 kg/m³.

Often called glazing tape, it has a smooth, durable finish and absorbs the stresses between glass and frame. It is rated for service from −10 ℃ to 90 ℃ and is available single-sided or double-sided, in roll or die-cut form.
