Product overview

SyncSol ETPT 4795 is a heavier polyimide tape, with a 50 µm (2 mil) amber polyimide film and silicone adhesive for a total thickness of 80 µm. It offers adhesion to steel of 900 g per inch, tensile strength of 20 kg, dielectric breakdown of 12,500 V and insulation class 180 ℃, with heat resistance listed at 400 ℃.

Polyimide film keeps its shape and does not soften when hot, giving a dependable release surface and less rework. The tape is flame retardant (UL-94 V-0) and resists chemicals and radiation, while the silicone adhesive keeps adhesive transfer low after heat exposure. It is supplied on a polyethylene core rather than cardboard.

Choose ETPT 4795 over ETPT 4790 where higher dielectric strength, adhesion and mechanical strength are needed.
