Product overview
SyncSol SHDT 5091 laminates polyethylene film over a 45-mesh cloth scrim and coats it with natural rubber adhesive. Total thickness is 230 µm, tensile strength is 44 N/cm, elongation at break is 9%, and adhesion to steel reaches 1,800 g/inch.
The rubber adhesive gives good holding power on most rough surfaces, while the cloth scrim lets the tape tear cleanly by hand. The polyethylene coating keeps out moisture so the bond lasts longer on the surface.
The standard colour is silver, with black also available and other colours on special request. Temperature rating is 90 ℃.
