Product overview
SyncSol SFSK 7175 combines three layers: a 50 µm aluminium foil, a 3-way reinforcing scrim and 60 gsm natural kraft paper, coated with solvent acrylic adhesive on a paper release liner. Total thickness is 125 µm, adhesion to steel is 1,200 g/25 mm, tensile strength 13 kg/25 mm and burst strength 3 kg.
The tape bonds quickly and stays put, and is flexible enough to resist cracking and lifting on insulation facings. It forms an effective moisture and vapour barrier, resists mould, and its acrylic adhesive performs across a wide temperature range, with a rated temperature resistance of 120 ℃.
